After his daughters Zoa and Shaza Morani, now Bollywood producer Karim Morani has tested positive for Coronavirus. The producer has been shifted to the Nanavati hospital for treatment. Karim Morani’s brother Mohomed has confirmed the news to Mumbai Mirror. He said, “Yes, we have been anticipating this as he was with his daughters. Karim has tested positive of coronavirus. He has been shifted to Nanavati Hospital.”
One of Karim’s daughter is also admitted to the Nanavati Hospital. His other daughter is in Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute.
Earlier in an exclusive interview with India TV, Karim Morani had said “It is true Shaza has been found to be coronavirus positive but she has no symptoms. We have admitted her to Nanavati hospital at the moment”.
After Shaza, Zoa’s first test came negative but her second test came positive.
Earlier talking about her diagnosis, Zoa had told Times of India, “I was the one showing the symptoms and that’s the reason my sister Shaza and I agreed to do the test. As a precaution, the doctors asked me to do the test again and so now I am in the hospital. They have put me under observation. There are other suspected COVID-19 patients here too. I was only allowed to carry limited stuff. I have got some books with me for company as nobody is allowed to meet us.”
