A few days after Virat Kohli and Priyanka Chopra became the first male and female Indian personality to have 50 million followers on Instagram, Kareena Kapoor Khan has finally debuted on Instagram. Yes, you read that right. Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Instagram ID is @kareenakapoorkhan, which was previously handled by her manager.
For the unversed, neither Kareena Kapoor nor her husband and Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was on the social media but now Bebo seems to have changed her mind and given her fans a reason to cheer.
When Kareena Kapoor was asked what led her to make her Instagram debut? She told mid-day, “I have always believed in ‘Never say never’. The world of Instagram was daunting for me because I didn’t want to get addicted to ‘likes’ on pictures or sharing details of my life. But I realised I have to move with the times.”
Kareena Kapoor’s Instagram account has already been followed by 300k and it is likely to touch 1 million followers by the end of the day. Sharing the reason to join the world of social media, Kareena said, “I am joining social media for my fans, who have supported me for 20 years. I want [to share details] of my life with my fans,” says the actor.
On the professional front, Kareena Kapoor Khan was last seen in ‘Good Newwz’ alongside Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh. Meanwhile, she is gearing up for her upcoming film Angrezi Medium, which is scheduled to hit the theatres on March 20, 2020.
