Kannada TV Actress Shobha Dies In A Car Accident

The Magalu Janakki actress, Shobha died in a road accident on July 17, 2019. According to the reports of the IB times, Shobha’s car rammed into a truck at National Highway 4 on the outskirts of Chitradurga. Four other people who were travelling along with Shobha also lost their lives in the unfortunate accident.

Shobha and seven other people were traveling in a multipurpose vehicle when the accident took place in Kunchinaganalu on the outskirts of Chitradurga. Out of which, five lost their lives and three of them (which includes 3 kids) have suffered major injuries.

As per the portal, people who lost their lives in the accident are Shobha,  Ashok, Shyamala, Sukanya, and Manjula. The three survivors are Pavitra and kids Shreshtha and Arthat who are seeking treatment at a government hospital.

According to the reports, they all were on their way to Banashankari Temple in Badami taluk in Bagalkot District. The accident happened due to a tire burst of the car and then the vehicle rammed into a truck.

Mourning her death, TN Seetharam said, “Ever smiling and highly talented actress Shobha, who was doing the role of Mangala, is no more. I am shocked by the tragedy and expressing my condolence to her family.”
