Kanika Kapoor has tested positive for COVID-19 for the fifth time consecutively. Her sixth test report has come and she has tested negative in it. The singer is currently undergoing treatment at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Lucknow.
Though her sixth test has come negative, she will have to stay at PGI Hospital, Lucknow until she fully recovers. We wish the Baby Doll singer recovers soon and be back in Mumbai.
Kanika has faced a lot of backlash on social media for attending parties and other gatherings after her return from the UK. On March 21, Kanika was booked for negligence by the UP Police. She said that she has been treated ‘like a criminal’ at the hospital. Post her accusations, the hospital released a statement asking the singer to behave like a patient and not throw ‘tantrums of a star’.
Kanika recently wrote a heartfelt post on Instagram saying that she is ‘fine’ and also rubbished the rumours of being in the ICU. “Going off to bed. Sending you all loving vibes. Stay safe you guys. Thank you for your concern but I am not in the ICU. I am fine. I hope my next test is negative,” she wrote in her post.

For the unversed, Kanika tested positive for the Coronavirus for the first time on March 20. She shared the news on her Instagram handle but later deleted it.
