Kanika Kapoor’s Brother Gives Health Update Of The Singer Post Her Covid-19 Treatment

Kanika Kapoor who was tested positive for Coronavirus is discharged from the hospital and is back home with her family. She was diagnosed on March 20 and was admitted to a hospital in Lucknow, where she was undergoing treatment.

Kanika’s brother Anurag has shared an update of her health. He told SpotboyE, “Yes, Kanika is back. We all are very happy. She is doing fine now.”

He also said that Kanika hasn’t been advised any precaution and is doing ‘absolutely fine’. Anurag further said, “We are glad Kanika has recovered. It is a big relief for everyone in the family. We were extremely worried. Thank God for her safety.”

Kanika landed in controversy for not going into quarantine after her return from the UK. She landed in Mumbai from London on March 9 and later traveled to Lucknow and attended events and parties. She also attended a high-profile party of politicians that was attended by more than 100 people. She also went to attend a Holi party in Lucknow. Everyone that came in contact with the singer was tested negative.

Kapoor was later booked by UP Police for her negligence. An FIR was registered against the singer by Lucknow’s Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Narendra Kumar Agarwal, at the city’s Sarojini Nagar Police Station. As per a report in Times Of India, the interrogation of the singer by Lucknow police will take place after 14 days of her self-quarantine.
