The Incarnation-Sita: Kangana Ranaut To Play Goddess Sita In Period Drama

On Tuesday, Kangana Ranaut announced that she is set to play the role of Goddess Sita in her forthcoming epic period drama, ‘The Incarnation – Sita.’ Earlier, it was reported that Kareena Kapoor Khan will be essaying the role of Sita in the film.

The ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ actress shared the news on her Instagram handle and also revealed the poster of the film and wrote as: “The Incarnation- Sita. Glad to be on board for the title role with this immensely talented team of artists..With the blessings of Sita Ram …Jai SiyaRam 🙏”

The film will be directed by Alaukik Desai and backed by producer Saloni Sharma from SS Studio. The director shared the news on his Twitter, sharing a picture with Kangana, he wrote: “SITA AARAMBH. Universe does help those who surrender to it with belief. What was a mirage, is now clarity. A dream of a pious character never explored is now a reality. I am ecstatic to bring #KanganaRanaut on board as SITA. Thank you #SSStudio for your immense support.”

Currently, the actress is riding high on the success of her biographical drama film, ‘Thalaivii’ based on the life of Indian actress-politician J. Jayalalithaa.

Apart from this, Ranaut will be seen next in the action film, ‘Dhaakad’ and ‘Tejas,’ in which, she will play the role of air force officer in the film.
