Kangana Ranaut To Portray Indira Gandhi In Her Next Political Drama

Bollywood actress, Kangana Ranaut has been gearing up for the release of Thailavi, which is a political drama. She will be seen portraying late Jayalalithaa in this upcoming biopic film. The films release has been delayed owing to the pandemic Coronavirus lockdown. Amidst the buzz about Kanagan’s upcoming films, she has bagged yet another political drama, wherein she will be portraying the role of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The film will be helmed by Sai Kabir.

Kangana Ranaut took to her Twitter handle and made the announcement of collaborating with Sai Kabir. Revealing much about the project, the actress apparently stated in a statement that it won’t be a biopic film but it will cover significant moments of Indian political history including Operation Blue Star and The Emergency.
