Now, according to the latest reports, the ‘Queen’ actress to be safeguarded by the Home Ministry, as she is coming to Mumbai.
Upon getting several threats from leaders and prominent people from Maharashtra, Kangana had revealed on Twitter that she will come to Mumbai on September 9. Her reaction came right after Shiv Sena’s Sanjay Raut had warned her against returning to Mumbai.
According to the latest report by AajTak, the Queen actress has been granted with the Y Category security by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
In India, the Y category is provided with 11 personnel, including 1 or 2 commandos and police personnel to safeguard a person
Himachal Pradesh’s government has also claimed that the state will provide security to Kangana Ranaut for her upcoming visit to Mumbai. The decision was announced by Himachal Chief Minister Jairam Thakur.
“Kangana is the daughter of Himachal Pradesh and a celebrity too. It’s our duty to give her security. I have told the Director-General of police Sanjay Kundu to take steps accordingly,” the CM apparently said while speaking to reporters in Shimla.
