Kai Po Che Actor Asif Basra Commits Suicide in Dharamshala

Bollywood actor Asif Basra allegedly committed suicide on Thursday, November 12. The actor took the drastic step in a private complex in Dharamshala.

According to ANI, The 53-year-old was found hanging at a private complex in Mc Leodganj. The reason why he took such a drastic step is yet to be ascertained.

A police team has reached the spot as soon as the incident was reported. They have started investigating the matter as of now. SP Kangra district Police, Vimukt Ranjan, confirmed the news. He stated that the investigation on the matter is underway.

As reported by sources to DNA, Asif Basra had been living in a rented house in McLeodganj for the last 5 years. He also had a foreign girlfriend living with him.

Asif Basra, has been a part of Sushant Singh Rajput’s Kai Po Che, Black Friday, Jab We Met, Once Upon A Time In Mumbai, Krrish 3, Hichki, and many others. He was last seen in Ronit Roy-Tisca Chopra’s thriler Hostages 2.
