Shahid Kapoor-Kiara Advani lock lips in new ‘Kabir Singh’ poster

Bollywood actor’s Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani will be seen in ‘Kabir Singh’ soon. This will be their first outing together on-screen. Their movie is an official adaptation of Vijay Deverakonda-Shalini Pandey starrer Arjun Reddy. The movie was a blockbuster hit when it released two years back.

The makers of Kabir Singh have now unveiled a new poster from their film. The poster showcases Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani sharing a passionate kiss.

It was shared on Twitter by Shahid Kapoor. He wrote: “Get smitten by love! #MereSohneya, out on 6th June! @Advani_Kiara @imvangasandeep @itsBhushanKumar @MuradKhetani #KrishanKumar @ashwinvarde @dop_santha @nirajkothari @TSeries @KabirSinghMovie @Cine1Studios #KabirSingh.”

The Hindi remake is written and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who also helmed ‘Arjun Reddy’. The Telugu blockbuster remains a special film for the director. He had become a father while shooting for Arjun Reddy. He hence named his son after the movie.

‘Kabir Singh’ is jointly produced by Cine1 Studios and T-Series. The storyline of the movie revolves around the life of a student. He sets out on a self-destructive path after his lover marries someone else.

The original ‘Arjun Reddy’ featured Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey in lead roles. The film was a huge hit and was widely appreciated by the fans.

Kabir Singh will release on June 21, 2019.
