The trailer of Kaashi, which stars Sharman Joshi and Aishwarya Devan is a thriller. Sharman essays the role of a distressed brother, who is in search of his sister Ganga. The real fight starts when people believe that Ganga never existed and some say that she disappeared into thin air.
It becomes extremely difficult for Sharman for now he has to make the police and authorities believe that Ganga is a real person. Aishwarya, plays the role of a journalist and Sharman places her trust on her. Both of them fight red tape in a lawless land ruled by mindless politicians. As they search for Ganga, they discover some shocking details about her and the life she led.
As part of promotions, Sharman was also spotted on the roads of Mumbai with the posters of his sister, who he is in search of. The actor was also seen approaching some cops to help him find her at Juhu Beach.
Mid-day quoted Sharman saying, “A very exciting day indeed just to see that people connected with the missing posters… And I was revealing the part that this was actually a part of the film. They showed a lot of interest in that which was wonderful. It was a fruitful day and hope for many more in the coming days.”
The film is directed by Dhiraj Kumar and also stars Aishwarya Devan, Govind Namdev, Akhilendra Mishra, Manoj Joshi and Manoj Pahwa. It is set to hit theatres on October 26.
