Serie A: Ronaldo earns an assist as Juventus extend winning streak to seven matches
Paulo Dybala scored his first goal of the season as Juventus extended their winning streak to seven matches with the 2-0 defeat of Bologna in Serie A on Wednesday.
Dybala scored as early as the 11th minute after Matuidi found him open inside the opposition box. A long ball had deflected off the Argentine forward into Matuidi’s path. But the latter’s shot was parried away before Dybala acrobatically scored his first goal of the season.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo who has so far scored three in the league failed to find any against Bologna, but assisted Matuidi in netting the second in the 16th minute.

Taking a run in the left channel, Ronaldo found himself in a clear position but rolled the ball for Matuidi from a tight angle, to score.
The Portuguese once again found himself in a favourable position later in the match but was denied by Bologna goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski.
Juventus’ all-win record after seven matches across all competitions was their best ever start to the season in 88 years. It was also for the straight season that the Bianconeri has won all of the opening six matches in the Serie A.
Meanwhile, Roma returned to winning ways after a hiatus of five matches beating the newly promoted Frosinone 4-0 at home. They had gone down to consecutive defeats against Real Madrid (0-3) and Bologna (0-2) in their previous two matches.
