In an interview with GQ Magazine, the ‘Baby’ singer said that there was a sense of still desire for more. He revealed that he had all the success and was still sad and in pain. He also said that he stills has these unresolved issues ad=nd he thought that the success was going to make everything good. For him, drugs was a numbing agent to just continue to get through.

Bieber even revealed that he abused all his relationships and was disrespectful to women before getting married. He also said that his drugs habit has become quite serious to the point that security guards would come into his room at night and check his pulse to make sure he was still alive.
Justin said that his wife Hailey Baldwin helped him out of those dark moments. Talking about his marriage, he said that the first year was tough and he spent his first year as a husband on eggshells.
