JIPMER PG Application 2020: The application process of admission for Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) has already started. Interested candidates can apply for admission for the 2020 academic year by visiting JIPMER official website. Notably, the last date to apply for JIPMER PG 2020 is 25th October 2019 and exams will be conducted on 8th December 2019, for admission to MD and MS courses.
JIPMER PG 2020 Eligibility criteria
The student must have a degree of MBBC or its equivalent from institute or university recognized by the Medical Council of India. The minimum marks in aggregate mandatory for admission is 55 per cent. SC/ST candidates can only need 50 per cent marks in aggregate.
Candidates must have completed the 12-month compulsory rotation period of internship or practical training on or before 31st December 2019.
It must be noted that those who have an MD or MS certificate from any institution or university would not be eligible for admission in JIPMER PG 2020.
Here are some easy steps to apply for JIPMER PG 2020 Exams
Step 1: Visit JIPMER official website
Step 2: Once you open the official site, you will have to click on the exam link
Step 3: Select the option ‘Apply Online’.
Step 4: Click on the pop-up box which has the instruction thoroughly and close the pop-up.
Step 5: Fill all the necessary details and hit the ‘Register’ button.
Step 6: Use login credential to sign in
Step 7: Fill up JIPMER PG 2020 Application Form with required credentials, documents and upload the images and finally press Click Submit button.
Step 8: Make the payment for the application form.
JIPMER PG Application Fee
Open category students are required to pay Rs 1600 as an application fee for the exam while under reserved categories student need to pay only Rs 1200 as exam fee. Notably, foreign national students have to pay Rs 3000 for the application fee.
Candidates belonging to OPH and PwD category do not require to pay any fee to attend the exam.
It is to be noted that the NEET-PG 2020 by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) will be conducted on 5th January 2020. The applications for the same is likely to start in November’s first week.
