Jio Phone 2 priced Rs 2,999: How to buy the phone, here’s what you need to know
Reliance latest addition Jio Phone 2 will be available for order from August 15th. The new Phone is the latest from the company. It sports a QWERTY keypad on the board. Jio phone 2 was announced at the annual general meeting (AGM) last month.
How can you get your hand on Jio Phone 2?
Registrations for the phone will open from August 15th on the official Jio website and Myjio app which can be downloaded from Google Play. There are no pre-bookings for the phone this time, which also means that the user will have to pay the complete price at the launch itself. There’s no cash on delivery option yet.
Jio claims to have 25 million active JioPhone device users in India and is targeting close to 100 million users on the overall platform. The company has also said that the new Jio Phone 2 will come with WhatsApp, Facebook, YouTube, Google Maps app. It will also roll out these apps for the original Jio Phone.
Jio is also giving exciting exchange offers
The old Jio Phone now has an entry price of Rs 501. Under Reliance Jio’s Monsoon Hungama Offer, a user can exchange their existing feature phone for the Jio Phone at just Rs 501. This Rs 501 is refundable.
Buyers will also get JioPhone Recharge Plan for Rs 594 with unlimited voice and data for 6 months. Customers will also get a Special exchange bonus of 6GB data voucher, worth Rs 101.
