India is currently dealing with Coronavirus-led crises. Maharashtra, Delhi, West Bengal, Karnataka and few other regions have reported running out of oxygen as well as vaccines as the COVID-19 infected numbers keep surging. Renowned Bollywood actor, Jimmy Sheirgill is said to be arrested by the Punjab Police for allegedly breaking the pandemic protocols. Several states have imposed lockdown-like restrictions and night curfews to curb the outspread of the second wave. The actor alongside around 150 crew members was apparently shooting at the raided area last night i.e April 28.
Jimmy Sheirgill and the National Award-winning director, Eeshwar Nivas both have been booked including 35 other crew members for breaking the COVID-19 lockdown rules. Reportedly, the crew was shooting for a web series, titled, Your Honor, which is a remake of an Israeli web series. The crew also didn’t possess permission to shoot in the private school during the night curfew hrs. The director is said to have already got the bail.

According to a report by the news agency, IANS a case has been registered under Sections 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) and 269 (negligent act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 of the Epidemic Diseases Act on all these people.
