Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is gearing for the release of his upcoming film Jhund. The Nagraj Mule directorial has him playing a football coach. After sharing the first poster of the film the makers are out with an intriguing teaser. It introduces us to a bunch of slum boys, who will transform into soccer players later.

The teaser that was shared by Abhishek Bachchan showcases the team that is formed from a group of slum dwellers. Though no faces are being introduced in the teaser, we can just see them walking towards someone. They are armed with chains, bricks, cricket bats and sticks. Amitabh Bachchan is not seen in the teaser
The story of Jhund is based on Nagpur-based football coach, Vijay Barse, who went on to set up a team called Slum Soccer and train a bunch of slum children to achieve glory in soccer. The first look poster of the film was unveiled on Monday. The first look poster showed Amitabh Bachchan dressed in a blue hoodie. He faces the wall and slums in the background and the sketchy poster also shows a football on the ground.

Jhund marks the Bollywood debut of Nagraj Manjule’ of Sairat fame. The flick is co-produced by Nagraj, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Raaj Hiremath and Savita Raj Hiremath. The film is set to hit the silver screens on 8th May, 2020.
