Employees of an Indian jewellery store in Mississauga, Canada saved the shop after chasing away four robbers who broke store on Wednesday. Their quick-thinking and sword-yielding saved the day. If local reports are to be believed, the owner of the store named Kumar said that the swords in the store had been given to the family as gifts from some of his close friends.
This incident took place on November 21, this year. The jewellery store is exactly located at Airport Road and Beverley Street in the City of Mississauga, Canada.
The video of the incident which was shared on Facebook, showed four men breaking the front window of the store and attempting to enter during what could have been a daylight robbery. Currently, investigators are on a lookout for the four suspects spotted in the CCTV footage.
All-in-all, three store employees chased the robbers away with swords. Investigators said that one of the robbers was brandishing a gun. So far, no injuries or loss of property has been reported.
In the footage that was released by the cops, it also showed an exterior camera capturing a dark-coloured SUV, which came to a abrupt halt. Police stated that the robbers wearing dark clothing and hoodies escaped in the above described SUV after being chased away.
