Indian all-rounder Jayant Yadhav, who was earlier retained by the Delhi Capitals has now been traded to Mumbai Indians confirmed a statement on the Indian Premier League’s official website.
The 28-year-old has been with the Delhi franchise since 2015 but had hardly played for them. In his three years at the club, off-spinner has played just 10 matches with four wickets.
But with Delhi purchasing Axer Patel and Jalaj Saxena – both spin-bowling all-rounders – in the recently concluded auction, the management decided to trade him to the Mumbai Indians.
