Does Jayalalithaa have a secret daughter? Read on to know more
In the Madras High Court, Tamil Nadu government produced a video clip of Jayalalithaa from an event in July 1980 which disproved a claim of a woman of being late chief minister’s biological daughter.
The copy of the video was submitted by State Advocate General Vijay Narayan before Justice S Vaidyanathan. The advocate said that the petitioner claimed she was born to Jayalalithaa on August 14, 1980. Where as, the video of the former chief minister participating in the 27th Filmfare award function did not show any sign of her being in an advanced stage of pregnancy.
The petitioner is Bengaluru-based woman, claims that she was born to Jayalalithaa and then given up for adoption on which Narayan was presenting his arguments.
She was also in seek of a DNA test to prove her claim.

This petition was filed by the women after one month of Jayalalithaa’s death in December 2016. She says that this fact was revealed to her, by her foster father just before his death. The women went to such an extent that she moved the court in seek to unearth the mortal remains of Jayalalithaa and cremate it as per the rituals and customs of Iyengar community to which she belonged to.
On the same claims, the advocate general said it’s all her imagination and the girl is trying to harm the image of late leader.
The petitioner presented manipulations that she was raised by Sailaja, the younger sister of Jayalalithaa in Bengaluru.
And according to her manipulations Sailaja was disowned by Jayalalithaa’s family as she was born after the death of Jayalalitha’s father, Jayaram.
Further Narayan added that she has not yet submitted any proofs or documents that will prove that she was the daughter of the former chief minister. And she is making all false allegations against the leader which is also a defamation case.
To add to this story Narayan revealed another fact that Sailaja can’t be Jayalalithaa’s sister as she had filed a defamation petition against Sailaja for claiming to be her sister.
The judge adjourned the plea by a week for a further hearing as the submissions only generates questions regarding life and death of Jayalalithaa.
