Jasprit Bumrah ruled out of England T20s with finger injury
Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the T20 series against England after sustaining a finger injury in the first T20 against Ireland. His availability for the ODI series is also quite uncertain. Bumrah’s lazy attempt to catch the ball in the last over of Ireland’s innings proved costly for the Indian speedster. He was rested for the second T20 match. The 24-year-old will move to India with the hope of recovering before the Test series.
Washington Sundar also twisted his ankle in warm up sessions that kept him out of the two T20 matches against Ireland. He was the only Indian player not to feature in either of the the two T20 games.
