Janhvi Kapoor speaks out against nepotism allegations
The film directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar is set to release on July 20, 2018. In most instances, ardent Bollywood followers are elated to read success stories of actors who have made it big in the industry with their perseverance and not necessarily, any backing or connection in the industry. Janhvi Kapoor has faced multiple allegations regarding Karan Johar promoting nepotism by launching her in the movie. While most people are touting it to be the ‘glamourised’ remake of Nagraj Manjule’s ‘Sairat’, Janhvi Kapoor seemed miffed and expressed concerns in an interview with Reuters.
Currently Karan Johar is busy with the promotions of “Dhadak” that stars Janhvi Kapoor, daughter of Boney Kapoor and late veteran actress Sridevi, and Ishan Khattar, Shahid Kapoor’s brother and has in the past avoided the word-‘nepotism’ in a string of interviews.

This author boasts of being versatile and admonishes against any scope of doubt when someone questions her vocabulary. Paradoxical, satirical and ironically so, a Neo-Modernist but a Shakespearean novel waiting to happen, she trudges on her Sherlock Holmes defined path in the quest to find what the future beholds.
