Marriage At Tirupati To Bachelorette In Capri: A Glimpse Into Janhvi Kapoor’s Dream Wedding

Late Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s elder daughter Janhvi Kapoor who is a successful actress in Bollywood seems to have planned her wedding out. Yes, you read that right! Recently, the ‘Dhadak’ actress spoke about her future wedding, and how she imagines it to be.

Speaking to the Peacock Magazine, Janhvi Kapoor said in the video that her special day should be ‘simple and basic’. The actress revealed that she will have her bachelorette party ‘in Capri, on a yacht’, and her wedding will take place at Tirupathi. In addition, she mentioned that she would have her Mehendi and sangeet ceremony at Sridevi’s ancestral home in Mylapore. She also revealed that she isn’t too keen on a reception. Janhvi said, “Is a reception necessary? No na? Screw the reception”.

Talking about the decor, the actress stated that it should be “traditional but simple, full of mogras and candles.”  She also said that she is not very good at decor and would like her wedding to be a short affair. “Two days mein I’ll liptao it (I’ll wrap it up in two days),” she said.

For her bridesmaids, Janhvi said that she would like to involve her friend Tanisha Santoshi, her sister Khushi Kapoor, and her half-sister Anshula. Further, the actress said that she feels that Khushi and her father, Boney Kapoor might become too ’emotional’ during the wedding, and she imagines that Anshula will be the stronger one, overseeing everything at the wedding.

Talking about her bridal outfit, the ‘Ghost Stories’ actress said that she wants to opt for traditional Kanjivaram or a Pattu-pavadai saree that would be ‘gold and ivory-themed’. Her Mehendi outfit will be pink, and her sangeet outfit will be yellow.

Finally, describing her future groom, she said: “The groom will be hopefully a sane human being because I haven’t met one of those yet.”

On the work front, Janhvi will be seen next in Aanand L Rai’s ‘Good Luck Jerry’ and Karan Johar’s ‘Dostana 2.’
