James Van Der Beek opens up on his wife’s miscarriage

James Van Der Beek lately disclosed on the episode of Dancing with the Stars on 18th November that his wife Kimberly Brook had suffered another miscarriage. James went on saying that the recent miscarriage was not similar to the rest.

Apparently, James Van Der Beek took to Instagram to share a picture and the revelation about his wife’s miscarriage. He wrote, “We’ve been through this before, but never this late in the pregnancy, and never accompanied by such a scary, horrific threat to [Kimberly] and her well-being. Grateful that she’s now recovering, but we’ve only just begun unpacking the layers of this one.”

Wrecked. Devastated. In shock. That’s how we’re feeling right now after the soul we thought were going to welcome into our family in April… has taken a short cut to whatever lies beyond this life. In the picture, alongside Kimberly was his adorable daughter Olivia hugging close to her in the hospital bed. James unveiled the most terrifying, heartbreaking news on Dancing With the Stars. “My wife Kimberly [Brook] went through every expectant parent’s worst nightmare. We lost the baby.” he said.

It was when he opened up on the matter that he burst into tears. While he kept on talking, his little daughter Olivia who was at that time sitting in the audience got moved by his words. Later on James picked up Olivia who as well began to cry.

James and Kimberly are parents to daughters Annabel 5, Emilia 3, Olivia 9, Gwendolyn 16 months and son Joshua 7.  Also, James told to Hollywood life as well as other reporters after DWTS October 8 episode that they had few appointment where they found out they were not adding to their family which is why Kimberly decided to do the ultrasound on camera and let the people know the experience whether it was good result or not.
