Jagesh Mukati, a well-known face in the Television and Gujarati industry took his last breath on June 10, 2020. The actor was admitted to the hospital for the last three-four days and had complained of difficulty in breathing. He was just 47.
Jagesh’s friend and Gujarati theatre actor Sanjay Goradia told Indian Express, “Jagesh was hospitalized on Friday last week. He had asthma and obesity-related health issues for many years. He was working out and dieting, but then the lockdown began, and he couldn’t continue his work-out. So, his asthma started getting worse. Last week, when he got breathless, he was taken to CritiCare hospital in Juhu, Mumbai. His oxygen level was low. He was tested for COVID-19 because that’s the protocol. His test results came negative.”
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s Ambika Ranjankar aka Komal Hathi, mourned his sudden death, sharing a photo on her Instagram handle, she wrote, “Kind, supportive and terrific sense of humour… gone too soon…

The late actor had been a part of popular shows like ‘Amita Ka Amit’, ‘Shree Ganesh’, He had also done Bollywood films like ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’ starring Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra and Aamir Khan starrer ‘Mann.’
Jagesh Mukati’s funeral was held on Wednesday evening.
