Jacqueline Fernandez has been roped in to star opposite South superstar Pawan Kalyan in the period action-adventure
After establishing her name in Hindi film Industry, Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez is all set to make her debut in South film Industry. According to Pinkvilla, Jacqueline Fernandez has been roped in to star opposite South superstar Pawan Kalyan in the period action-adventure.
According to the report, Pawan Kalyan and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer is a fictional story set in the Mughal Era and the Kick actress will be seen playing the role of Aurangzeb’s sister. Notably, there will be two lead actresses in the film.
A source was quoted as saying to Pinkvilla, “The period action-adventure film is also a mad-cap comedy of sorts. It is a fictional story set in the Mughal Era where Jacqueline will be playing Aurangzeb’s sister whereas Arjun Rampal is mostly going to essay the role of Aurangzeb in the film. Pawan will play someone who’s assigned the job of stealing the Kohinoor from the Mughals. There will be a romantic track between Pawan and Jacqueline as well.”
As per the report, Jacqueline has a key role to play in Pawan Kalyan’s next film where she will be shooting more than 40 days to complete her portions.
Besides this period action-adventure, Jacqueline has various projects lined up ahead and one of them is John Abraham starrer Attack where she will be seen playing of the leads along with Rakul Preet Singh.
Meanwhile, Jacqueline Fernandez was recently featured in a music video along with rapper Badshah. The song, titled Genda Phool is reportedly a fusion track that mixes folk music with urban sounds.
Jacqueline Fernandez’s South film debut was supposed to go on floors around April but now but it has been postponed due to Coronavirus outbreak.
