Jacqueline Fernandez opens up on playing dark character in ‘Mrs Serial Killer’
Jacqueline Fernandez and Manoj Bajpai starrer 'Mrs Serial Killer' is streaming now on Netflix.
Jacqueline Fernandez and Manoj Bajpai’s film Mrs Serial Killer, a Netflix original, premiered on the streaming platform on Friday i.e May 1, 2020. In it, the actress will be seen playing the role of a never-before-seen avatar, quite opposite to her regular roles.
In an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla about her role in the Netflix movie, she said, “That was very difficult for me. To perform such an extreme emotion, You have to actually understand the character and have to go through them. Certain things for me was very difficult like aggression, pain, fear. I think when I was prepping for this character, it really became about empathizing with the character and being to foray things I had gone through but amplifying it by a 100. And that was extremely challenging.”
“Throughout the film, there is so much struggle and conflict, there is never really a happy moment for her. We shot continuously for two months and we thought to stay in this zone of conflict and aggression throughout. Finding and Understanding what is that one thing for which you would through any single length to achieve,” said Jacqueline.
Mrs Serial Killer displays the story of a wife, who goes to every possible end in order to determine that her partner (played by Manoj Bajpayee) is clean. Manoj Bajpayee, who is framed by a cop (Mohit Raina), is seen manipulating his wife, to get himself out of the situation. In the means of saving her husband, she finds herself trapped in a series of unwanted positions.
