Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff, who is awaiting for his upcoming film ‘Romeo Akbar Walter’, will also be seen essaying the role of Salman Khan’s father in Ali Abbas Zafar’s next directorial ‘Bharat’, which is scheduled to hit the theatres on this Eid. It is to be noted that Salman Khan and Jackie Shroff had made their debut in ’80s and have an age difference of merely 10 years. When Jackie was asked about the role, ‘Yaadein’ actor said that he always treated Salman like a bachcha.
Jackie Shroff, who is keen to play Salman Khan’s father in ‘Bharat’ told mid-day, “I am aware that the age gap is only 10 years. We started our careers almost around the same time, but I don’t have any problem playing his father. I have always treated Salman like my bachcha. Even today, he is like a kid to me,”
Jackie, who has already played the role of Kareena Kapoor’s father in ‘Yaadein’ in 2001 and Aamir Khan in ‘Dhoom 3,’ would not play Salman’s father in ‘Bharat’. The actor said, “If the character is good and I am convinced about it, other factors don’t matter to me.”
