Jackie Shroff made his acting debut in Dev Anand’s 19821 movie ‘Swami Dada’ and gained immense fame after Subhash Ghai cast him in the lead role for the movie ‘Hero’, paired opposite Meenakshi Seshadri. The actor is known for his bindass and carefree attitude, and as he celebrates his 64th birthday today, in an interview, he shared his excitement and his plans for the day.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, the ‘Rangeela’ actor is currently shooting his new film in Mathura, ‘Atithi Bhooto Bhava’, and talking about his plans, he said that just like every year, he will shoot, plant a tree and feed kids. Further, he said that he will have dinner with his family.
Talking about his childhood memories, he said, that he misses the time he used to go to different classrooms and distribute sweets and eat them with his friends. He revealed that those were the best days of his life.
Jackie said that he is never into the numbers when it comes to his age, he said, “I am turning 64 this year? I had no idea I thought I was turning 46.” He further adds, “You don’t start thinking about age, you just think about your experiences, you start counting the breaths you take… that is how I look at aging.”
The ‘Gardish’ actor lastly said that there is one more thing that he does on his birthday every year is that he counts his blessings.
On the work front, Jackie will be seen next in ‘Sooryavanshi’. He also has ‘Radhe’, ‘Mumbai Saga’, ‘Firrkie,’ and ‘Atithi Bhooto Bhava’ in his kitty.
