‘Jabariya Jodi’: Parineeti and Sidharth starrer gets a release date

Parineeti Chopra and Sidharth Malhotra are all set to come together on the big screen once again. The actors who were last seen in ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’ will next be seen in debutant director Prashant Singh’s romantic comedy ‘Jabariya Jodi’. A few months back the makers had shared the teaser of the upcoming release. Now the chirpy beauty has unveiled the release date of the film.

‘Jabariya Jodi’is co-produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor and Shailesh. R. Singh, the poster was also shared by producer Ekta Kapoor.

The story of the rom-com is apparently based on ‘pakadwa vivaah’. The film will see Sidharth playing a Bihari thug, Abhay who abducts grooms and gets them forcefully married. Parineeti’s character is named Babli. The actors had undergone diction training to add authenticity to their roles..

The film also stars Aparshakti Khurana and Neena Gupta and has been shot extensively in Lucknow, Barabanki and Raebareli. It will release on May 17, 2018.
