Saying that it is ‘special’ to come back to Manchester United, Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo aims to help Juventus continue their winning run in the Champions League this season.
Ronaldo was shown a controversial red card in Juventus’ 2-0 win over Valencia in their first match of the competition and as a result, he missed his club’s 3-0 win over Young Boys in their last match.
But Ronaldo, who has found his form after a tough start to life at Juventus would be raring to go against his former club–a place where his career took off under the guidance of Sir Alex Ferguson.
“It is special for me to return to Manchester,” Ronaldo, as quoted by Goal.com.

“Here I have many memories of victories and affection and in particular with Alex Ferguson, to whom I send a big hug. He is a person who helped me so much.”
While speaking on the match, he said, “It’s going to be a tough match. Manchester United are strong, but if we play the way that the coach wants we have a good chance to win the game.
“However, we can’t underestimate our opponents,” conceded Ronaldo.
One of the main themes of the match would be the return of Ronaldo to The Theatre of Dreams but the five-time Ballon d’Or added that he would be solely focused on helping his side emerge victorious and proceed to the next stage.
Without Ronaldo who was serving a one-match ban, Juventus performed well riding on a hat-trick by Argentine sensation Paulo Dybala to defeat the Swiss champions.
“The Champions League started two games ago, even if I’m returning now, it doesn’t matter that I was sent off and then didn’t play,” the Portuguese said.
“We are in a great position and a win tomorrow will go a long way [to seeing us progress],” he added.
