What a terrible week for the acting fraternity this is turning out to be. After the passing of Irrfan Khan yesterday, actor Rishi Kapoor has passed away at the age of 67. Bollywood is numb with shock on losing the popular actors.
Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan both were battling Cancer for long now. Irrfan Khan passed away on April 29 whereas Rishi Kapoor left for his heavenly abode on April 30. It comes as a major shock to all that within 48 hours, the industry lost two of its finest gems. A picture of the two actors who had shared screen space in D-Day from an Eid part is viral on the internet.

In the caption, he wrote, “Rishi Kapoor & Irrfan Khan, two very diverse acting styles, but both iconic performers. I don’t know if they did any other films together, but I remember one. Ironically it was called #DDay.”
In the picture, Rishiji and Irrfan Khan are deep in conversation. They had worked together for a film called D-Day together. The film was critically acclaimed and both the celebrities received accolades for their performance.
Bollywood stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Ajay Devgn, Rajinikanth, R Madhavan, Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar, Shahid Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty, Priyanka Chopra, and others mourned Rishi Kapoor’s death on Twitter.
