The year 2020 has been very difficult especially for the Hindi film industry as Bollywood lost the fraternity’s most talented and legendary stars, Irrfan Khan, Rishi Kapoor, Sushant Singh Rajput and, Saroj Khan. Irrfan Khan passed away the age of 53 on April 29, at Mumbai’s Kokilaben hospital as he was suffering from a neuroendocrine tumor. Now, Instagram has now added ‘Remembering’ to the actor’s profile to memorialize it.
As per Instagram’s policy, memorialized accounts are a place to remember someone’s life after they’ve passed away. Memorialized accounts on Instagram have the following key features: No one can log into a memorialized account. The word Remembering will be shown next to the person’s name on their profile and these accounts don’t appear in certain places on Instagram, like Explore.

The 53-year old- actor was cremated at the Versova Kabrastan in the presence of family and close friends. His last rites were performed by son Babil and Ayan. Filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia, who worked with Irrfan in ‘Paan Singh Tomar’, carried the actor’s mortal remains to the cemetery. Sutapa, Vishal Bhardwaj, Kapil Sharma, Rajpal Yadav, and Mika Singh were a few people spotted at the funeral.
Irrfan’s last film ‘Angrezi Medium’ released earlier this year and featured Radhika Madan, Kareena Kapoor, and Deepak Dobriyal in leading roles. The late actor is popularly known for her roles in Bollywood movies such as Piku, Blackmail, Lunchbox, Madaari, Slumdog Millionaire, etc as well as Hollywood films like Jurassic World, The Namesake, Life of Pi and more.
