Irrfan Khan hospitalised in Mumbai due to sudden health deterioration
The latest reports state that 'Angrezi Medium' actor Irrfan Khan has been hospitalised to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai.
Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan has been recently hospitalized in Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital. A report in Aaj Tak states, that due to sudden deterioration of health, the actor has been admitted to the ICU of Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. Post his cancer treatment, this is the first time where the health of the actor has worsened.

At present, Irrfan Khan’s wife Sutapa Sikdar, and two sons Babil and Ayan are currently staying with him at the hospital.
Recently, the actor’s mother Saeeda Begum breathed her last on Saturday in Jaipur due to age-related ailments. Due to the ongoing lockdown due to the coronavirus outbreak, the actor could not attend his mother’s funeral but he participated in the last rites via a video call.
Irrfan Khan, recently, made his comeback in Bollywood with the movie, ‘Angrezi Medium’ after his treatment of cancer. The movie released and received a got response but after a few days, the lockdown was announced due to which the movie couldn’t reach more audience. Now, it is released on Disney+Hostar.
On April 3, 2019, when the actor returned his work post his treatment, he took to Twitter and shared a deep note declaring his return. He tweeted, “Maybe somewhere in the pursuit of winning, we forget how much it means to be loved. In our vulnerability, we are reminded. As I leave my footprints onto these steps of my life, I want to pause to be grateful for receiving your immense love and support, it soothed me in my process of healing. So I travel back to you, thanking you from the bottom of my heart.”

The actor was under treatment while they were shooting for the film in the UK. Irrfan was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumor in 2018.
