Deleting Credit Card info is messy on Facebook and if the Donation sticker goes live on Instagram, the payment section of Instagram will require the same information for instant checkout. Facebook Donate Button had already raised billions of funds worldwide, compare to this Instagram is having a shopping tab but limited to specific regions only.
Thanks to lucrative and clean Instagram post UI, it is a lot easier to attract a user to buy something on Insta against a big post layout on Facebook. Having a Donation Sticker on the stories is sure going to help many non-profit organizations unless Instagram follows a simple checkout process that let users add and remove their bank, credit card details instantly.
