1. MS Dhoni:
Captain Cool of Indian Cricket is regarded as one of the best captains of the game. The talisman batsman had led India to glory in the 2007 T20 World Cup, 2011 World Cup, and 2013 Champions Trophy. But not many know that he first studied at the DAV Jawahar Vidya Mandir and then went on to St. Xavier’s College of Ranchi. But due to his commitment to cricket could not give his final exam.
2. Virat Kohli:
Virat Kohli has emerged as one of the best batsmen of this generation. The Indian team captain is known for breaking a number of records at this young age. His cricketing journey right from his Delhi and India U19 years is well known to the world. But his educational qualifications are known only to a few. Virat Kohli has studied till Class 12 from Vishal Bharti Public School in New Delhi.
3. Sachin Tendulkar:
The legendary cricketer also known as Master Blaster is the God Of Cricket to his fans. The former opener couldn’t do much in education because of his early entry into the game at the age of 16. The little master finished 12th grade from Shardashram Vidyamandir in Mumbai. before starting his professional life.
4. Sourav Ganguly:
Former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly is also called Dada lovingly by his fans. One of the most successful captains in Indian cricket Ganguly has finished his graduation from St. Xavier’s College of Kolkata. He dedicated most of his years to cricket.
5. Rohit Sharma:
A talented young cricketer from India, Rohit Sharma is also known as ‘Hitman’. Rohit completed his primary education at Our Lady of Vailankanni High School. He was then admitted to Swami Vivekananda School on scholarship. He also studied at Rizvi College, Mumbai. He studied till class 12 as he was selected for International cricket.
6. Shikhar Dhawan:
Shikhar Dhawan, fondly known as Gabbar has been the opener for the Indian cricket team since 2013. He did his schooling at St. Marks Senior Secondary School, Paschim Vihar, Delhi. As Shikhar put cricket ahead of his career he dropped out after completing 12th.
7. Suresh Raina:
Suresh Raina is the consistent middle-order batsman for India for some time now. He has many IPL records to his name as well. Raina had finished his 12th when he decided to pursue his career in cricket. He shifted to Lucknow to attend the specialist government Sports College. He then completed his B.com graduation with correspondence from Delhi University.
