Indian army trumps Pakistan 3-0 in a friendly Volleyball match in Russia
In a historical turn of events, the Indian and Pakistan army for the first time participated in a mega anti-terror drill held in Russia.
The drill held under the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) peace mission exercise was conducted by the Central Military Commission of Russia. It also involved China, Kyrgyz Republic, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.

Meanwhile, on the sidelines of the event, soldiers of both India and Pakistan faced each other in five-a-side Volleyball match, which the Indian team that comprised of five Rajput Regiment eventually won 3-0, said a tweet from news agency ANI.

The match was held on August 26 and not just volleyball but other sports such as Futsal, Swimming, Kettlebell Lifting, Arm Wrestling & Tug of War were also played.

During the event both the teams received enormous support from the other participating nations, but it appeared that while Russia vouched for India, China shouted for Pakistan.

It is being held at the Chebarkul town of Chelyabinsk region and has commenced from August 22 to August 29. A contingent of 200 members of the Army and Air Force are participating in the event.
Both India and Pakistan were admitted to the SCO last year.
