Few reports claimed today that the Indian security forces were carrying out ‘pinpoint strikes’ on suspected terror launchpads inside Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. After the report makes quite buzz, the Indian Army official refutes such action by the army and stated that these reports are fake.
Indian Army Director General of Military Operations Lt Gen Paramjit Singh said in a statement that, “Reports of Indian Army’s action in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) across the Line of Control are fake.” The officer refuted the reports of them being carrying out strikes on suspected terror launchpads inside Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. There has been no firing across LoC, the Army official clarified after a news agency reported that the Army had launched “pinpoint strikes” inside Pakistan-occupied- Kashmir.
These reports of Indian Army carrying ‘pinpoint strikes’ comes after approximately five security people including four of civilians were killed in Pakistani aggressions at locations -Uri, Nowgam, Keran and Gurez sectors in North Kashmir. Indian Army strongly strikes back and neutralised these launch pads. Reportedly, the Pakistani military had tried to push a maximum number of terrorists on the other side of their border before the onset of winters.
