The Indian Army has claimed that one of their teams has found mysterious footprints of Yeti
The Indian Army has claimed that one of its teams has found mysterious footprints while they were on the mountaineering expedition. They have said that those footprints are of Yeti-the mythical creature. The spotted them at Nepal’s Makalu Base Camp. It’s really surprising, isn’t it? The footprints are of 32*15 inches that are quite huge.
The public information branch of the army tweeted on the same by attaching a few pictures of the footprints. in the snow. The tweet read as: “For the first time, an #IndianArmy Moutaineering Expedition Team has sited Mysterious Footprints of mythical beast ‘Yeti’ measuring 32×15 inches close to Makalu Base Camp on 09 April 2019. This elusive snowman has only been sighted at Makalu-Barun National Park in the past.”

Maheshwar Dakal, joint secretary of Nepal’s forest department said:
“We cannot ascertain the presence of the Yeti unless we have proof in the form of pictures or others. The footprint does not explain all and could be of bear or snow leopard.”
Bivash Pandav, a senior scientist of Dehradun-based Wildlife Institute of India (WII), said:
“It could be the footprints of a brown bear and I do not believe that such a species (Yeti) exist in that part of the Himalayas.”
