More than 1.15 lakh fresh COVID-19 cases have been recorded in India, making it the highest single-day rise so far. Approx 630 deaths in the last 24 hours took place taking the total coronavirus death count to 1,66,177. Although India is among the top vaccine-producing nations, the fresh COVID-19 cases are increasing uncontrollably.
