The new wave of pandemic Coronavirus appears to be strong than how it was last year. More than 1.15 lakh fresh COVID-19 cases have been recorded in India, making it the highest single-day rise so far. Approx 630 deaths in the last 24 hours took place taking the total coronavirus death count to 1,66,177. Although India is among the top vaccine-producing nations, the fresh COVID-19 cases are increasing uncontrollably.
The pandemic Coronavirus outspread is setting an unprecedented grim record as a part of the new wave. The highest single-day record of 1.15 lakh fresh cases surely adds more tension towards the safety concerns. The many state governments in India have also imposed night curfews and weekend lockdowns to curb the new wave. However, the situated in hailed as “quite critical”. Cities which has emerged as hotspots with the highest number of cases are Mumbai, Pune, Surat, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru and few others.
