According To The Latest Reports, India Crosses 6 Million Mark To Have Infected Cases Of Coronavirus By September 28.
The COVID-19 Pandemic has brought the world to a standstill. Many have lost their lives to the virus. While the recovering rate witnessed a spike, the virus has not been fully contained as yet. With the increasing number of cases, the total number of COVID-19 infected cases in India has crossed the 6 million mark on Sunday.
As per the COVID-19 data released by the Health Ministry, approximately 75,000 people have recovered during September. Around 1,039 new people have succumbed to the infection, pushing the death toll to 95,542 to date. Currently, there are 9,62,640 active COVID-19 cases in the country.

Meanwhile, the Health Ministry on Monday stated that countries’ total recoveries have crossed the 5 million mark. The rise from 100,000 in June 2020 has been steep. The last 1 million recoveries were added in just 11 days, said the statement, The recovered cases have outpaced active cases by more than 5 times. India currently stands in the second position to be the worst hit by the pandemic after the USA.
