India-China Film Festival set to begin from 22nd December
With an aim to strengthen people-to-people connect and deepen cultural understanding between the two countries, an India-China Film Festival will be organized from 22nd to 24th December.
“The three-day festival, organised by the Directorate of Film Festivals, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, will be organized at Siri Fort Auditorium,” the official release said.
A total of seven films including four Chinese and three Indian Films will be screened during the Festival. The opening film of the Festival will be ‘CZ12’ also known as ‘Chinese Zodiac’. The list of Indian films to be screened includes ‘Dangal’ (Hindi), ‘Maacher Jhol’ (Bengali) and ‘Ventilator’ (Marathi).
It is to be noted that all the films will carry English subtitles. The entry for the Festival has been kept free of charge – one may enter the auditorium simply by showing a valid Photo ID. The seating will take place on a first-come-first-served basis. Entrance for the Festival will be through Gate number of 5 of Siri Fort Auditorium.
