On Independence Day, Salman Khan unveils ‘Bharat’ teaser

India is celebrating it’s 72nd Independence Day and everyone is in the mood of patriotism. Utilising the opportunity, Salman Khan has released a glimpse of his upcoming mega project Bharat. In the small teaser, released on Wednesday, the Bollywood star has shared a little brief on what the movie is all about.

Sharing the insights, Salman took to Twitter and wrote: “Kuch Rishte Zameen se hote hai, Aur kuch Khoon se.. Though the teaser doesn’t reveal much, it will definitely leave you wanting for more.

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bharat is the official Hindi adaptation of the hit Korean family drama ‘Ode To My Father’. There were rumours that Disha Patani might play the role of Salman’s long-lost sister in the movie, but now Tabu has bagged the role. It is to be known that Disha would be playing Salman’s love interest in the movie.

Earlier Priyanka Chopra was chosen to play the lead role in the movie but after she left Katrina Kaif stepped into the role. Along with Salman, Katrina, Disha and Tabu, other actors include Nora Fatehi. The movie is set to release on Eid, next year.
