According to a Hindustan Times report, these raids are in connection with Kashyap’s Phantom Films. Production and distribution company. The Phantom Films was a renowned production house and a distribution company in Bollywood. It was established by Anurag Kashyap, director Vikramaditya Motwane, Madhu Mantena(runs talent management agency- Kwaan) and Vikas Bahl. This company was dissolved after all the members parted their ways in October 2018.
The other reports suggest that the raids are for tax evasions by Taapsee Pannu and Anurag Kashyap. But there has been no confirmation of the same as yet.
