Imtiaz Ali To Reunite With Ranbir Kapoor For Third Film?

Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor and ace director Imtiaz Ali have given us two blockbuster hits. Rumour has it that the director-actor Jodi of ‘Tamasha’ and ‘Rockstar’ fame are all set to collaborate once again. Reportedly, the Love Aaj Kal director and the Sanju actor are very likely to work again soon. The report adds that the actor has reportedly even verbally agreed to it.

As reported by sources to Bollywood Hungama, “There are two films that Imtiaz is currently working on simultaneously. One is a biopic on controversial musician Amar Singh Chamkila’s life and the other is a social film that tackles the idea of suicide. Imtiaz had taken the two films to Ranbir and he seemed to have loved one of them. In fact, he has also verbally agreed to be part of the film which is currently under pre-production. The team plans to lock modalities only once the script is ready and Ranbir okays it.”

If the rumours do come true then it will be Ranbir and Imtiaz’s third film together.

On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor will soon be seen in Ayan Mukerji directorial Brahmastra. The movie has Alia Bhatt playing the female lead. It also features megastar Amitabh Bachchan, South superstar Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles. Ranbir also has Yash Raj Films Shamshera in his kitty. Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor are also part of the project. He also has Sandeep Reddy Venga’s Animal and a Luv Ranjan film in his kitty.
