Music maestro Ilaiyaraaja lashed out at a security guard at a recent concert at the EVP Film City that was organised to celebrate his birthday. The video of the composer losing his temper on the security guard has taken the internet by storm. It so happened that during the concert, a security guard entered the stage to serve water to musicians. Ilaiyaraaja started yelling at him and asked him why he was disturbing the event. From SP Balasubrahmanyam to Yesudas, many other singers were present at the concert and sang some of Ilaiyaraaja’s songs.
The guard explained the reason, but the musician was not ready to listen to him. Later on, the guard fell at Ilaiyaraaja’s feet and apologised.
This is not it. He didn’t spare the audiences present at the concert. Speaking harshly about the crowd, he said that they paid Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 and occupied the seats allocated to those who paid Rs 10,000.
Here’s the video below.
This is not the first time he is been rude and arrogant. Earlier too, he had a fallout with SP Balasubrahmanyam. He sent a legal notice to the SPB on singing his songs on public platforms without his permission. He even said that those who sing or use his songs they were not men enough to compose their own tunes.
