Ibrahim Ali Khan joins as AD for Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s next
Sara Ali Khan's brother Ibrahim Ali Khan will be joining as an assistant director for Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh's upcoming film.
There have been rumors doing around on the internet stating that Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt will be collaborating for the second time after Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’ for Karan Johar’s next. However, the duo has never confirmed the same. Now, the latest news state that Sara Ali Khan’s brother Ibrahim Ali Khan is all set to join as an assistant director for KJo’s film.

As per a report in Pinkvilla, KJo’s movie is all set to go on the floors by June/July and few scenes will be shot at some real locations in India. Ranveer and Ali will be taking some acting workshops to understand their character in dept and will then slip into the world of Karan’s romance to create some magic on-screen.
Speaking about Ibrahim Ali Khan, he has come on board as an assistant director on this Karan Johar film, and currently, there are no plans of launching him. He will be a part of the film, as he wants to understand the process of filmmaking. At present, Ibrahim is still studying and has not yet decided if he wants to step into the shoes of an actor or director.
For the film, Ranveer will be donning a cool and modern look which will feature him wearing jackets, glairs, hats, ripped jeans, whereas Alia’s character will be subtle as compared to Ranveer. KJo’s movie is expected to be a light-hearted, rooted love story.
However, an official confirmation is yet to be made.
