Huawei Teased Launch Of Its First Foldable 5G Smartphone – MWC 2019

Mobile World Congress the yearly mega smartphone event unveils heaps of new innovations and ideas that were rumor once. This time in Barcelona at Mobile World Congress 2019 manufacturer are raising curtains from the foldable screen tech. The event kicks of on 25 Feb, 2019 and end at Feb 28.

According to news sources LG and Huawei are prime highlights, the brands plans to introduce their unique foldable 5G smartphone models. Huawei revealed its plan on unique foldable model last year and with a tweet it seems the brand is all set to surprise the world. Xiaomi is also in the race where it had already teased its foldable model on Wiebo. President and co-founder Lin Bin shared a video of prototype featuring a flexible folding screen. It can be used as a wide screen device in portrait mode and turns into a small handy mobile by folding the screen in landscape mode.

Huawei tweeted an invite with jingle “Are you ready to reveal the unprecedented?” it promptly points towards the exclusive model the foldable 5G Smartphone, previously rumored to be a concept. Huawei’s tweet doesn’t reveal enough, the official launch will take place on 24 February 14.00 CET Barcelona.

Foldable form factors will be streamlined in year 2019 if in MWC leading brands like Samsung, LG, Huawei, Xiaomi introduced new models.
