Superstar Hrithik Roshan will soon be seen depicting the role of a Bihari in his upcoming release ‘Super 30’. Today on the auspicious occasion of Chhath Puja, a Hindu festival popular in Bihar. The actor says that after depicting the role of a man from Bihar he has a better understanding of the festivals and traditions of the state.
The ‘Kaabil’ star extended his warm wishes to fans on social media on the occasion of Chhath Puja and also shared a video of the people performing the puja near his house on Tuesday night. He wrote: “It happens right in front of my home. I was always curious and intrigued by the scale and enthusiasm of this festival. Now, after playing a Bihari, I know about the significance of Chhath Puja. My deep respect 4 those who keep this fast and I wish everyone a happy and soul cleansing Chhath Puja (sic).”
In the video, Hrithik is seen wearing a baseball cap and a gunjee as he waves to the fans performing puja.
The ‘Krrish’ star will be seen in Super 30’s depicting the role of Anand Kumar, which was initially slated to release on January 25 but has been postponed, and it now set to release sometimes in March.
